XMPro For iPad

Sydney Australia - 30 June 2010. “Mobility is here to stay and the iPad introduces a new dimension to how processes will be digitised and used in future”says XMPro director, Pieter van Schalkwyk. Pieter demonstrated how the Apple iPad can be used by the new generation digital natives to start, participate and approve processes with the ease of the iPad at their fingertips.

Processes can be hosted internally on the organisation’s own server infrastructure or as was demonstrated, it can make use of XMCloud where XMPro can host processes for customers in the cloud.

“We are embracing a culture of mobility” says van Schalkwyk and XMPro will publish some design considerations for mobile process users in the near future. Social networking tools such as Twitter will have some impact on how users expect to interact with mobile business according to van Schalkwyk. “Users want quick access to important information without too much typing and data entry. It brings a new dimension to business agility” says van Schalkwyk.
